Battery Connect ("we", "us") is made by Vivitron Energy Pvt Ltd. This page explains what the Battery Connect app collects, why, who it's shared with, and how you can have it deleted. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising — the sole purpose of everything below is running the app itself.
Only what's needed to run the features you actually use:

| Name & phone number | Your account identity. Phone number is verified by SMS one-time code (via Firebase) so accounts can't be created with someone else's number. |
| Email (optional) | Only if you choose to add one — not required to use the app. |
| Battery/device info | Your BMS's Bluetooth address, the name you give it, and its serial number — so the app can reconnect to the right battery. |
| Battery telemetry | Charge level, voltage, current, temperature, cell balance, cycle count, and protection status — read directly from your battery over Bluetooth when you use Quick Check or live monitoring. |
| BLE battery password | If you use "Secure My Battery," the password you set is stored against your account — so only you can unlock the battery, and you're never locked out of your own hardware. It's never shown to other users. |
| Trip & location data | Start/end time, charge level, and GPS coordinates of rides — powers the Range Estimator's real-world range calculation. Only recorded while you're actively riding with the app connected. |
| Push notification token | A device identifier issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging, used to deliver battery alerts and app updates to your phone. |
We use two infrastructure providers to run the app — both act only as processors on our instruction, and neither can use your data for their own purposes:
We never sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you stop using the app, it simply stays as-is unless you request deletion — see below.
You can permanently delete your account and everything tied to it — devices, readings, trips, health checks, notification history — at any time:
Passwords are hashed (never stored in plain text). Every request to our database is scoped by row-level security, so one account can never read another account's data. Access to Battery Connect's support tools is gated separately and used only to help you when you contact us.
Battery Connect isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
